Who it's for
Whatever singing means to you
Some students want to sing better in the car and at church. Some want to hold their own in a musical. Some are preparing for auditions. All of them are welcome, and none of them are pushed onto a path they didn't choose.
The voice is personal in a way other instruments aren't — you can't put it back in the case. That's why lessons here start with trust. Students are guided, not judged, and technique is taught in a way that protects the instrument they'll be using for the rest of their lives.
Goals are set with the student. We work honestly toward them and won't promise outcomes we can't control.

A technically clean performance that says nothing is still a missed opportunity.
Once the fundamentals are in place, the work turns to what the singer is actually saying. Students learn to read a lyric, make interpretive choices and deliver them to an audience — then get chances to do it in front of real people, where nerves show up and preparation proves itself.
